The juiciest orange I have ever smelled <3
I got this as a sample from luckyscent out of pure curiosity. I saw it listed under their new arrivals and being a fan of Orange Sanguine from Atelier, I figured what do I have to lose? I fell in love at first sniff and had to get a bottle of this for myself. I ended up purchasing the 30 ml bottle from Sephora because I get points through them, and cash back through Ebates … it’s a total win-win.
Notes: Clementine, Mandarin, Juniper Berries, Star Anise, Sichuan Pepper, Basilica, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cypress.
This is one of the juiciest orange fragrances I have ever smelled. It is very fresh, bright and playful. As the name suggests you get a lot of Clementine in this one. I almost like this one more than Orange Sanguine; “almost” is the key word. The only reason why this can’t replace Orange Sanguine is because when mixed with vanilla, you don’t get the orange creamsicle feel. I am not disappointed by this, it is absolutely amazing on its own.
If you want a fragrance that just makes you smile every time you smell it; that will always uplift your spirits, then look no further. When I smell this it takes me to summer; I think of sundresses, warm sun-kissed skin, long summer nights with cold drinks by the beach, palm trees…. it reeks summer! This will definitely be a go to during the warmer months. I do enjoy this in the colder weather too because as I said, it just transports me to the warmth and lifts my mood with each sniff!
This is a unisex fragrance. The berries, anise, pepper, basilica, vetiver, sandalwood and cypress hang out in the back, softly, perfectly blended to make a nice base. As I mentioned earlier and as the name suggests the clementine is the real star of the show here.
Longevity: Atelier is not known for crazy longevity. If I spray this without any base on my skin I am lucky to get 3-4 hours. If I put a good layer of vaseline down prior to spraying I get a good 7-8. This is something you will have to spray liberally, I am talking on each side of the wrist, elbows, knees, all over your neck, hair, clothes. Don’t worry, you won’t choke anyone out with this one.
Projection/Sillage: Again, not an area Atelier is known for. You won’t get massive projection approx 1 foot. Enough to be noticed when you want it to be. Projection is greatest within the first 1-2 hours and then it hangs out close to your skin. Another reason why I like to spray this in my hair, I get a nice waft every time I move.
Price/Value: This is subjective as you will have to apply this liberally and touch up often. I feel that this is a great value because I genuinely enjoy this scent.

6.7 oz/200ml= $195.00
I would recommend trying the travel size and exploring the fragrance prior to purchasing. I tend to purchase the 30ml bottle and assess usage to determine if I will need 100, or 200 ml for future refills.
Overall: If you couldn’t tell already, I am totally in love with this scent and glad that I tried it out. I can not wait for the warmer months, so I can bathe in this and walk around with a smile from ear to ear all summer long!
I did not see this on Atelier’s website at the time this post and video were published. I would assume it is something they will add in the future. If they do, and if you fall in love with this one I would highly recommend you pick up the 200 ml off of their website because they offer a free 30ml bottle of whatever scent you like. A great opportunity to add another new favorite to your collection. Also, you get loyalty points (regardless of where you purchase your fragrance from) that you can put toward future purchases. A total win-win. As always you receive samples from them directly. If they never add this to their site, you can always pick it up at sephora or www.luckyscent.com (they have a wide variety of scents that you can choose samples from FYI).
