The Good: This stuff is fragrance-free and ultra gentle! There are no sulfates in it so this is not harsh on your skin. One thing that I really love about the products from this company is that they are cruelty-free. I find this to be effective at makeup removal, even waterproof makeup but you will have to use it more than once to get everything off. This is a very hydrating formula. If the concept of cleansing with oil appeals to you then I highly recommend you check this one out. This acts like a cold cream. Very easy to use, put a little on, rub and tissue or rinse off. When you take this off your skin feels so hydrated you might not feel the need to use moisturizer, especially in the warmer months.
The Bad: The only negatives I can think of are: 1) If you choose to rinse this off and not tissue it off your skin will feel like an oil slick, I would recommend using a washcloth or tissue to take this off. If you have a lot of makeup on you will have to rub and wipe off multiple times, you will feel like you are wasting product but honestly I find the same to be true with makeup wipes… very rarely do I get everything off with just one wipe… so I don’t know if this would really count as a negative?!?!
Price/Value: 6 oz $12.00- a great value, in my opinion, considering the quality. A bottle should last you anywhere from 2-3, maybe more months depending on how frequently you use.
Overall: I love this stuff. It has not made me break out and as I previously mentioned this replaced my Origins habit. My skin is left clean and moisturized. I think if you go into it realistically you will be pleased with this product. If the price tag is too much and your skin is not super sensitive, Ponds is still a great option.
