Disclosure: The company Swiss Arabian reached out to me and asked me if I would like to try out a few of their fragrances. I gladly accepted after searching their website. They are known for beautiful bottles and potent fragrances. I did receive these fragrances gratis. This has had no impact on my opinion. This post is not paid for, all opinions are my own. They asked me what types of fragrances I typically go for and selected options I would like based on what I like. Becuase the fragrances sent contain the notes/structure I like, naturally the majority I find very pleasing, so please keep this in mind.
I received the package and quickly dove in. I couldn’t resist opening each box and trying it on! As shown on the site the bottles are stunning in person. There are a few that stood out to me the most and this one made the top of my list.
TOP NOTES: Bergamot, Black Currant, Passion Fruit
MIDDLE NOTES: Vanilla, Jasmine, Peony
BASE NOTES: Cedarwood, Patchouli, Musk
Opening: Very sweet, fresh, juicy. The patchouli and musk are very present. There is a beautiful creaminess to this from beginning to end. I also get some spiciness even though there is no pepper listed. Beautiful blushing peony and jasmine tie everything in, making this a very pleasing gourmand/floral. This has an ultra-feminine vibe, I envision a woman in her 20’s and up, wearing either something very well put together or sexy on. If I had to describe this in one word, I would have to call this “Intoxicating”.
Drydown: The freshness fades and the creamy, sweet floral, musky fragrance really shines. There are woods in the background that compliment and enhance the gorgeous patchouli. This fragrance is very well composed.
Sillage/Longevity: I get a full days wear out of this one. Projection is the greatest in the first two hours, your scent bubble is enormous. Once this settles down, I get a good three feet of projection. I am VERY satisfied with the performance on this one.
Overall: I have shared this one with a few friends and we can all agree that this smells familiar. I couldn’t figure out what it reminded me of until the day I sat down to write this. This has a very similar vibe to Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb. The main differences with this are: there is a spicy quality, the florals are more dominant, and is overall a stronger/longer lasting fragrance at a lower price point. I actually enjoy this fragrance more than Flower Bomb! If you are a fan of Flowerbomb and in need of a new bottle soon, you should totally check this one out HERE!
